Boasting incredible sandwiches, salads, soups, pastries, coffee, juices, and desserts; Gigi’s sets a new standard for a deli sandwich. Major bonus: if you’re the type to order double meat on your sandwiches, no need here –they are stacked high and have the perfect meat-to-accouterment ratio.
Teresa Gee, the owner of Gigi’s, bought the business 6 years ago (at 24 years old!!!) and has run with it since. Teresa grew up cooking for her family as soon as she was old enough to hold and handle a knife. Eventually moving onto culinary school, Teresa, branched out working at some fancy digs in Miami. We all know the west coast is the best coast, so it wasn’t long before Teresa was back and setting up her own shop here. Born and raised in Burlingame, she knew this was the city deserving of the food she pours her energy into.
We have had a handful of events catered by Teresa and her team– little tea sandwiches for preschooler hands, pastries for Baywood Elementary staff and lunches for our own team. Next up will be food for our open houses and broker’s tours.
Recently, Gigi’s Cafe in Burlingame was ranked #14 out of the Top 100 Places to Eat, ranked by Yelp. What an honor, right? Our circle loves Gigi’s and we hope the ranking brings her even more exposure and success.
