When many San Francisco Bay Area residents think of prime rib, many think of the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco on Van Ness Avenue.
Last night, I had another amazing meal at Broadway Prime in Burlingame. I have been going to Broadway Prime since its opening in 2000. Every holiday season, some friends and I have dinner at this excellent restaurant.
I know many of the Burlingame locals who read this blog know what I am talking about – as it has become a very popular dining destination. However, if you haven’t been to Broadway Prime, I highly recommend giving it a try.
They start you off with a delicious salad topped with their private home made dressing. Then with your entrée, you choose from traditional mashed potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes, or a baked potato with all the fixins. You also get a choice of either cream corn or cream spinach. If you are ask politely, they are usually more than happy to bring you both.
For the big eaters like me, if you are still hungry, you are welcome for seconds. The service is good, and staff is always friendly. Hong is a great host and will make sure you have enjoyed your meal, and he will always make sure you have had enough to eat.
