Sunday mornings you will always hear a buzz from the year-round Burlingame Farmer’s Market on Park Road, at the intersection of Burlingame Avenue. From 9:30am to 1:30pm vendors line the street and locals flock to the fresh offerings, in a very ritualistic way.
You can find similar, if not many of the same, vendors at this market as others across the San Francisco Peninsula. We recently wrote about the larger market at College of San Mateo HERE. The great thing about this two markets being on Saturday and Sunday, is that if you have weekend plans and cannot make it to one, the other generally has similar offerings, with Burlingame being on a smaller scale.
The Burlingame Fresh Market (as the chamber of commerce has dubbed it) is a nice stop following brunch on Burlingame Avenue, a quick jaunt from Barry’s Bootcamp after a Sunday sweat session, or a crucial first step in Sunday dinner preparation. Whatever your mission, The Burlingame Farmers’ Market has all the best vendors and offerings.
Some of our favorite vendors:
Daybreak Vietnamese Coffee
Rodriguez Farms
Little Sky Bakery
