That’s one way of looking at it, but I think it’s a little different because the ones who are getting a tax deductions are actually investing their own money, and also creating jobs for others. I’m all for helping out when people are down, but at what point to we say as a whole that enough is enough. Cheers, Tap!

People always want to try to think about taxes logically. I will often hear from investment or estate planning clients that the tax law is not fair or logical. Tax law is politics “pure and simple” People complain that some citizens get public assistance (food stamps, unemployment, healthcare ) …..but many people do not realize that deductions such as home mortgage interest expense, state deduction is another form of the tax subsidy. It is surely a tangled web
