Hillsborough Concours D’Elegance - Sunday May 4th, 2008

Hello Again,
I just wanted to let everyone know that one of my favorite events on the peninsula is occurring very soon. On Sunday May 4th, 2008 from 10am-4pm is the 2008 Hillsborough Concours D’Elegance Italiano. The Hillsborough Concours D’Elegance is a classic car show that is put on by the Hillsborough School Foundation. Hillsborough’s Concours D’ Elegance is much like the famous Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance. However, Hillsborough adds more of a family twist to the event by adding carnival style games, bounce houses, police demonstrations, and much more. This year the event will have a Italian influence featuring many historic automobiles with Italian heritage. The event takes place on the lawns of Crocker Middle School located at 2600 Ralston Avenue in Hillsborough,CA. Come early, parking can get tricky!

I completely agree, the Hillsborough Concours D’Elegance is the best event on the peninsula. I may have a biased opinion though, my grandfather has been showing his self-restored 1940 Packard since I was really little. He always does well at the Hillsborough Concours. He and I will be there again this year!
